Teaching

I am a faculty member of the Max Planck Research School for Population, Health and Data Science (IMPRS-PHDS) and a course instructor for the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD). 

I have taught more than 40 courses for undergraduate and graduate students, many of them at Ruhr-University Bochum. I also taught at the University of Rostock, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Oxford, the European Doctoral School of Demography, and the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai. I participated in several workshops and courses on pedagogical and didactic skills and was granted the certificate "Professionelle Lehrkompetenz für die Hochschule".
